On Saturday, we did a quick shopping round (after a mandatory, but lighter breakfast at the Patrician of course!) before we went to see another bunch of dueSers for lunch at the Pickle Barrel. Of many meetings, some partings… and a dyslectic Santanist.

After another breakfast at the Patrician, we all headed for the Distillery District again to meet up with Tom Melissis. We first met him at the RCW 139 convention last year and have been chatting with him on and off on Facebook and Twitter since then. Tom is known as detective “Dewey” from the last season of due South (or last two seasons if you’re from the US) and is currently starring in Degrassi, the (live and interactive) mystery dinner show called “Spy School” in Toronto, and more. The day before yesterday we finished the evening going out and having a light dinner at the food court at the Eaton Centre. Tiffany had some poutine, and I settled for a Subway sandwich. After sleeping for eight *wonderful* hours in this fantastic bed, I woke up to a cold, but lovely Toronto morning! We weren’t exactly in a hurry to get out, but when we did, we headed straight to the Patrician Grill for a late breakfast, or an early lunch. I can’t believe it’s over already!!! :’-(

These are my pics from the third and last day of the convention. Tomorrow, around 4 PM, we’ll leave Toronto, flying to New York, where we will spend the night. On Tuesday evening, we’re flying back to Sweden via Oslo (Norway).

Words can’t describe how grateful I am for all of you who made this into one of the most memorable weekends I’ve *ever* had! And of course, a special heartfelt THANK YOU KINDLY to the fantastic convention crew. You’re *amazing*!!!

I’ll update with my full convention story as soon as I’m home!

RCW139 due South Convention “Thank You Kindly” Day 0-1 gallery

We arrived in Toronto on Thursday and today, on Friday, was the first official day of the RCW 139 convention. Since our schedule is packed with lots and LOTS of interesting and fantastic events, I won’t be able to make very detailed updates until I return to Sweden. These are some pictures I took from the Thursday picnic and distillery district tour–and the Friday events. Some of the pictures are not of great quality since I didn’t have time to edit them much.
