Well, the bag is almost packed now (note the Kit Kat lunchbox! 😉 ) my trash is out, my potted plants are safely at my parents’ house, the ESTA is printed (with two backup copies) and the washing machine just finished the last load of laundry…

So, what are my feelings now? To be honest, at the moment I’m feeling rather blank. Excited, yes. But my mind obviously *still* really can’t grasp the fact that tomorrow we’re setting out on a trip that we’ve been planning for a whole year…

Am I nervous? No, not really. As long as the transatlantic flight just leaves on time, I’m actually not worried at all. I’ve been to the US a total of three times, and I’ve always felt welcome.

I and Erika met up today for a bit to take some “Saddle up” pics. No, this is not our actual entry, but we just had to take a selfie, right? 😉

Anyway–for those of you who want to contact us while we’re in the States/Canada, our e-mail addresses can be found on the “contact” page. We might be a bit sporadically online during the first couple days, but we do expect daily WiFi access, maybe not 24/7 though…
